SOAR Summerfest is the culmination of the SOAR Summer Program.
Spend a summer evening with us in Brandon's Central Park immersed in music, food, kids activities and more!
The 4th annual SOAR Summerfest is shaping up to be the best ever. Friday evening begins with a pig roast dinner at 5:00 p.m. The dinner includes bar-b-que pork on a bun, baked beans and cole slaw for $8. Drinks and dessert will also be sold. With your dinner, you also get an auction ticket.
Fun activities for the kids will be happening from 5:15 - 6:15 p.m. Come join in the fun!
The free concert begins at 6:30 p.m. and features Gene Childers and the Jubilee Jazz Band ... a concert favorite! These musicians keep the tradition of early jazz alive. The musicians are from Vermont and New York and are among some of the finest in the Northeast. With years of experience playing far and wide, expect swinging ensemble playing, hot solos, and a fun, toe-tapping, good time for the whole family.
